This coming Track & Field season is going to present many challenges for high school coaches. 
 
We certainly will have less time to prepare our athletes and teams, and with so many sports going on at the same time there are going to be challenges with facility use and with both athletes and coaches who traditionally do Track & Field possibly now doing only a different sport.
 
You will probably have to recruit coaches who are new to Track & Field or you may even find yourself coaching events you have never coached before. 
 
We would like to help you prepare for these challenges.

The LA84 Foundation Coaching Education program traditionally would have hosted hundreds of coaches at one of its Beginning or Advanced clinics in January and February, but that obviously was not possible this winter, so we have come up with a program that is going to attempt to address several of the problems you will be facing.
 
Since we cannot host any in-person clinics, we are going to offer 24 separate online sessions over the next month that can help you prepare your athletes even if you are new to the sport or if you find yourself coaching events you have never coached before, and all these sessions will be absolutely free for any coach, parent or athlete to view and pose questions.
 
We have a tremendous staff of World Records Holders, Olympians, National Champions, and some of the most successful college and high school coaches in the country set to present on topics that will cover all Track & Field events, as well as training and preparation.
 
Each online presentation will begin with a 30-45 minute structured presentation, followed by a 30-45 minute open session of questions and answers.

To register for a specific session, you'll simply click on the Zoom link listed next to that session and complete the very short registration: registration only takes a few seconds—it is only your name and email–and then you will receive an email with a direct link that will allow you to view the presentation.
 
You may view as many presentations as you like. You can even get your team or event group together to watch the presentations in the evening.
