*Weekly RunningDVD giveaway! We know that people are watching these Tuesday Tips and that's great,
yet we'll all be better served if you and others will write
questions/comments/observations in the comments area. I'll respond,
then you may decide to respond to that response and pretty soon we'll
have a much richer resource for us both. To that end, RunningDVDs.com will be giving awa 3 DVDs each week to the first 3 people that comment on the newest "Tuesday Tips" video and become a fan of the RunningDVDs.com site. Simply post your comment below, become a fan and shoot me an email at [email protected] with your name and mailing address. I'll send you a free copy of Vol.1
or Vol.2 of Building a Better Runner, just specify which DVD you'd
like. I look forward to your comments and to making Tuesday Tips a
dialogue that helps us all.
Coach Jay you are right observational learning is great. It is awesome that runners and coaches have this resource to learn about racing and race strategies. The more races that our athletes are exposed too, the better they will be.
I will be speaking at a camp later this summer and I will absolutely listing runnerspace.com and Coach Jay as excellent internet resources for both the athlete and coaches. Keep up the good work!
All the races talked about were amazing, the 5k sweep was really cool. Great job and you could really see the hard work put in. Countless athletes PR-ed even if they didnt make Worlds. Congrats to all the athletes at Nationals.
It looks like Sara ran a smart race, taking it out on the faster ladies so she had a chance at the end. She looked good closing the last 50 but there was just too much traffic before that. The advancement criteria screw up was pretty bad, though.
Speaking of taking it out, I love that CWT move! It looks like most of the excitement for the US women will be in the 1500 this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of the summer holds for you guys.
