Nike unveiled the Nike+ FuelBand Thursday, a new wristband that aims to track all physical activities and provide a common metric for tracking performance across sports.
I had an opportunity to test out the device for several hours, taking it from Nike’s press conference in New York City to a tennis training session and a lunch.
The device performed as promised – after syncing with an iPod touch after each stop, the Nike+ FuelBand app charted my progress and allowed me to share it on Twitter and Facebook (although those features won’t work in full until the device goes live next month).
