SAN DIEGO, Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Runners can rejoice as Sony today announced a new special edition Meb Keflezighi NWZ-W262 Walkman MP3 player, offering the same lightweight, water-resistant design as the W260 models with additional content from the U.S. Olympic medalist and 2009 ING New York City Marathon Champion.

The special edition model, which features a custom Energy Orange trim over black design, will come pre-loaded with 24 minutes of audio running tips from Meb. Also included is a running booklet with information on getting started, nutrition, stretching, race strategy and Meb's favorite runners' playlist. Additionally, Sony will also make a donation to the MEB Foundation in support of youth fitness, health and education. The MEB Foundation was founded by Meb to inspire and empower youth and their families to lead healthy, active and balanced lives.
